Environmental Policy

Appallan marine and general construction limited commits to the following:

  1. Develop, implement, maintain and continually improve our environmental programme and procedures through the establishment of a recognised environmental management system (EMS).
  2. Identify assess and manage the significant aspects of our operations that have an impact on the environment through setting of clear objectives, targets and programmes.
  3. Prevent pollution at our operations to reduce and manage our impact on the environment and the communities we operate in.
  4. Identify and comply with all applicable environmental legislation and industry requirements and environmental best practice guidelines relative to our business and those which we subscribe.
  5. Communicate this policy to all employees and subcontractors.
  6. Embrace a culture of continual improvement.

The management is committed to the implementation of this policy in the interest of our employees and long term sustainable business, each director is committed to the implementation of this policy in all activities and on the premises under his/her direction and control.

A.M.G.C.L aims to attain ISO 14001, to develop and have fully implemented digital incident investigation and non-conformance process incorporating root cause analysis in all sections.

Occupational Health and Safety Policy.

Appallan marine and general construction company limited commits to the following:

  1. Continue to implement, maintain and improve our occupational health and safety programs and occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS).
  2. Identify assess and manage the significant risks of our operations that have the potential to impact on the health and safety of persons through the setting of clear objectives, targets and programmes.
  3. Identify and comply with all applicable legislation, industry and client requirements relative to our business.
  4. Communicate this policy to all employees and contractors.
  5. Embrace a culture of continuous improvement and training. The management is committed to the implementation of this policy in the interest of our employees and long term sustainable business, each director is committed to the implementation of this policy in all activities and on the premises under his /her direction and control.

A.M.G.C.L pursues and endeavours to achieve OHSAS 18001, review, revise, improve communicate and access the occupational health and safety management system to proactively measure and monitor leading indicator s and implement campaigns to address trends identified.
